The Problem of Building a Woodstock Nest
On Saturday I discovered that a baby bird must have fallen out of its nest onto the windshield of my car. I'm not sure if the heat, exposure, and/or impact killed it, but its nest was on a freely moving branch and was made out of approximately 7 twigs. I don't think it ever had a chance. However, the parents were doing a good job of keeping cats away from the tree.

ooooh...too sad.
ReplyDeleteBlech that's so gross! But so sad too! One day I was sitting in the courtyard at work and a crow was flying off with a little baby sparrow. :(
