Caterpillars Been Havin' a Blast

Thankfully they've taken up residence on the volunteer sunflowers rather than the plants I paid money for.  Phew!

    Hi NSAR, Haven't visited in a while. Love this picture. I noticed recently how my attitude to insects has changed. Now I see them as attractions and nutrients for wildlife. (This Pollyannaish attitude does depend a bit on how many there are)

    Whoa!!!! What will these morph into? I only deal with Monarch butterflies here...these are really a beautiful black!!! Love them!!!
