Ha! There was a guy walking down the sidewalk with a fancy piece of camera gear, and he swung back around and noticed me. He said he was admiring my flowers (bluebonnets in particular) and wondered if he could take some video from sidewalk. Well, of course... Wait. Not video of anything ugly. No? Ok, cool, go for it!
Too funny! Another victory for the bluebonnets!
Oh, he must also be a foreigner! When i saw the blue flowers for the first time in a foreign contry, Turkey, i had also to take photos behind the fence of a garden making sure my lens perfectly fits the slats. That time i don't even know how they are called. They told me they are grape hyacinths, and now you have here the blue bonnets. If i will see this in some foreign lands again, i will be like that guy too!
ReplyDeleteWherever he's from, I was just pleased that someone liked my bluebonnets enough to take a video of them.
DeleteAwesome... :)...And those are some very pretty bluebonnets!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteYou must live in geekville. Bet you got a great laugh out of this.
ReplyDeleteIt's slightly film-geeky around here right now because of SXSW. He had a bunch of wrists bands, so I suspect he was checking out the music and films.

You Texans really don't understand how much we non-Texans love your blue bonnets. They seem to be unique - at least to us! Nothing prettier than a field - or garden patch - of them!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't mocking him! I was just surprised that someone liked my patch of bluebonnets enough to film them - it's quite the compliment and one I'm not used to. :)
