Terrible Photos

A recent batch of just plain awful photos...

Ugh, what's happening here?  The rose is out of focus.  There's terrible light.  The framing is atrocious.  Blech.


A good example of why the flash on my camera is awful.  Just awful.  Plus the subject is ugly.  Sickly looking ghost plant, random roadkill cactus...  why?


Horrible framing.  Focus on the rhizome rather than the leaf.  There's no good excuse for this one.  It makes no sense.


BLUR!  What a world, what a world!

And even more blur.


Awesome!  Nothing's in focus!  It MIGHT have been pretty, but we'll never know, now will we?


Talk about ugly.  A fly on a sickly sweet potato vine with an extra dash of awful.


MY EYES!!!  The overexposure is practically radioactive!

I don't know why anyone looked at this post.

    So funny. I too kept reading along and wondering where you would take us. I actually like 6 and 7 blurred out. I think the black background and pop of color made for an interesting effect.

      I've noticed a lot of bloggers have switched to comment moderation, and the notices are kinda hard to see. I wonder if that's the issue?

    Great post! You "recycled" some failures that were great. We should all do one of these posts. I have so many horrible pictures and I always wonder what on earth I was thinking about when I took them.

    I came here now for your cactus post, but habit of browsing on older posts dragged me here! It is hilariously amusing, and you gave me a lot of inspiration. Who in his right mind will post photos you are describing, but they make sense, and we love your post. So one of these days, i will do just the same and will put the more horrible ones.
