We finally did it. We ripped out the lawn in the front yard and replaced it with plants. Real plants. And I managed to compile the experience into an Instructable. I certainly wouldn't say it's the only way to do it, but it certainly was a learning experience.

ReplyDeleteLots of hard work, indeed--it's really looking great! I love the stocktank arrangement. I haven't tried that yet, but we're like you: no lawn at all anymore. We find weeding more rewarding than perpetual mowing...
