I really don't know much about iceplants, but my Swartburg Beauty iceplant has finished flowering and the old buds now look like this: Is it playing a joke on me? Or is it going to produce seeds?
Wow, isn't it funny how flowers bud and form? I just saw what I thought was an ice plant at Home Depot. But I looked at so many plants I can't recall what it looked like in bloom! Brenda
It's going to produce seeds which you should cut it off, the less you let a flower go to seed the longer they last and produce better flowers.
