Want a pro-membership for Instructables?

I've racked up a few pro-memberships over the past year, and I honestly have more than what I could possibly ever need.  It's silly to let them just sit around, and since I love Instructables and think everyone should be doing awesome DIY and sharing their projects, I want to encourage people to join and have fun!

Note:  I'm not paid by Instructables to do this.  I've received these pro-memberships through contests and having my projects featured on Instructables.

Instructables is a site that encourages people to DO things.  The site provides a platform for DIYers to share their projects, and the projects shared are informative and inspiring.  The site is wonderful for children and teenagers because it encourages planning, creating, writing, photographing/illustrating, etc.  It's a great learning experience overall and not just for kids.  There are loads of tutorials from painting a wall to installing a patio.  Some of the projects have been featured on television shows like The Colbert Report.

What to Do
Leave a link to this in a new blog post.  Leave a comment on this post with the link to the post and your email address (e.g., funemailname at domain dot com).

Note:  I will not use your email address for anything except to send you the pro-membership code.

The Prize
The first 10 people to leave a comment will receive a 3-month pro-membership for Instructables.

Didn't make it in time for the first 10?  Leave a comment anyway because I'll randomly select someone to receive a 1-year pro-membership (value: $23.40).  The first 10 people will also be in the running for the 1-year pro.

The advantage of having a pro-membership is having fewer advertisements, being able to print PDFs of favorite projects to keep handy, being able to see the steps all on a single page, etc.  It really does improve the experience of using Instructables.

  5. No time to contribute projects, but Instructables sounds interesting. I would not really use a membership so no need to consider me, but I will have a look out of curiosity.
