Crazy Garage Overwintering

I just took this for my 365 Project, but I thought I'd share it on the blog as well:

You can see just how crazy it is in the garage, and this only a small portion of the plants being shown.  I have 2 shelving units, hooks in the ceiling for hanging plants, and more plants on the ground but not in view.  You can see an assortment of aloes, variegated peperomia, coleus, pickle plant, epiphyllum, roadkill cactus, san pedro cactus, Euphorbia ammak, Jatropha podagrica, pineapple plants, plumeria, Alocasia macrorrhizos 'Shock Treatment' (even though it is hard), nepenthes, and a few others.  They're not perfectly in view.  The plumeria and nepenthes are nearly hidden.  And then there are a few bottles of fertilizer and other gardening products.  The extension cord is running to the second shelving unit for lighting.

  3. Mine were never that organized in the garage, yours looks much nicer! I wish I would have just put my nepenthes in the garage...before my heater, they got destroyed by frost. Ugh!!

  4. It is nice to know that someone else does the same thing I do. Everything looks great! I don't have light going. I just open the garage door when it is sunny. Right now they need some tending though. Some need some water. Check out my hibernating post! http://sweetstuff1957.blogspot.com/search/label/hibernating
