Last night I took the dogs out and they started going crazy. I noticed something scuttling into a tree, and it was an opossum! Usually I see them running out of sight, but this one ran to the top of a chopped off tree trunk. I quickly grabbed my camera and took a few pictures. Later looking at them, there's something a little odd. It looks as though this one might be carrying a joey.

ReplyDeleteI know I am not in the norm, but I think Opossums are kinda cute, in their own special way. They can be a real nuisance, though. It does look like she is carrying something.
